Trying some thing new with a Munny .

Adding the back color was WAY to messy but I like the results .

The Hive

on this painting I wanted to try something surreal .

I had fun and think it came out with that feeling. 

Because of the bees it looks like ideas going in and out .

The inspiration came out of this lady's I would see as a child 

on Sunday with hats that were outrageous .

One of them would always wear faux fruits 

another lady wore hats with birds .

I think this is a subject that I will be going back to paint from times to time .

They are painted with acrylics paints and on a 5" by 5" wood piece .

Decided to challenge my self

Decided to challenge my self .

I chose the painting, 

Girl with the pearl earring by Vermeer.

Stayed with in my stile but 

also his idea , I like the way she turned out.

She is only 5" by 5" on wood with acrylics.

Taking time off !!

I will be back in two weeks and 

will start to post more in here .

I promise 

commission order

I am so very late with everything ,

messages , orders and of course life in general .

The photo up above is a commission order ,

to celebrate the life of a grandmother.

unfortunately the grandmother passed-away .

The family will be getting together for what 

would have been her birthday .

The order was commission by one of her grandsons .

the lady had 6 daughter and 

each will be given one of the dolls 

on her birthday.
