Polymer clay Mushrooms

I was getting ready for something special but started to panicking.

well I stopped making things for it and

made this little mushrooms from polymer clay.

The tallest is 1 3/4" and the little one is 5/8".

It was just so I could clear my head :)

Just WOW !!!

Just wanted to mention this .
The other day I bought some studio lights and

wow can you see the deference.
I did the same kind of editing to the two of them.

I know that all of you already knew about this but

I was just so WOW!!

Also the ornaments are on My Etsy :)

They are finish !

you can almost hear them giggling :)

8 new Ornies

Took a quick photo of some of the ornies I have been working on.

They will be going up as soon as I get a little time this week :)

aaaaahhhhhh relax.....

first thing first I have a part time job :)
it is minimum wage and only 15 to 20 hrs a week but it's a job :)
it's at the flower shop I would work ones or twice a month .

one of the designers left and I got her hrs.
now I have time to work on my art instead of looking for another job :)

Sorry I haven't bin around.
After I got better from the flue

I started looking for a job ( no luck ).
I do work at a flower shop but

that is only ones or twice a month

( not enough to pay the rent)
The job market is super hard at the moment and

I know it is going to get worst.
I try-ed some fast food places but

even they weren't hiring.
so I bib what every one who has looked for a job

at this time has done at one time or another ,

I got super depress.

during that time I would get happy messages

from people I know from the Internet.

some were just concern about me

others were just letting me know that they like my art work.

Yesterday I was just having a really bad day ,

two interviews were canceled because they hired someone else .

out of the blue I got a thank you e-mail

from someone I talk to some time back.

it really brought a smile to my face.

this is her blog ( it has a great deal of info )

It is finish and listed :)

This started as a black and white photo of one of my Halloween ornaments.
I transfer the photo to osnaburg fabric.
This is not an easy proses and it takes time and patient.
The piece was then hand colored using Acrylics paints, Watercolors, Artist Color pencils and some stains.
This is a one of a kind giclee / mixed media art work .
The art comes signed and dated.
The canvas measurements are 8" inches by 10" inches .
The wrapped canvas has staple-free edges perfect for frame less display.
The watermark is not on the art work.

This started as a black and white photo of one of my

ornaments printed on Osnaburg fabric.
It was hand colored ( acrylics , color pencils and watercolors )

and the fabric was stain.
it could be a giclee or a painting ?
I need to mounted on a canvas but

just don't know what to list it under on eBay ?

Beach Day !!!!!!!!

Today I wanted to paint this sketch on canvas but

ended up going to the beach :)
I had a GREAT time but got totally burn :)
It is funny how the sea can just give you a new look on life :)

Painting on wood

Yesterday I was having a bad day with some especial orders

( two small pendents of a moon and a bird painting )
so I stopped and made some thing different

with some help from Janine Parr Heifetz :)
Since I was feeling like an airhead this came to mind

a balloon head girl :)
she is 2" 1/2 by 3" 1/2 on wood ,watercolor , acrylics ,

pen and color pencils.
Just wanted to share.

I have a question on wood ?

Is there someone that works on wood and

can PLEASES give me some tips on how to work whit it .
I want the grain of the wood to come out

clear in some parts of the paintings/drawings.
On this two I used glazes pen and ink and

watercolors they are 2' by 3' 1/2.

This one was the last fairy I made some years back .

she is about 2" 1/2 tall from the top of her hat to her little feet.

Some years back I used to work in polymer clay .

As I was looking in some old boxes that held art supplies

I found this little fairy.

I know its not the cutes thing but it was my first :)

she less then 1" 1/2 inches.

bad day

Have you ever had a bad day ?

I did today first my tooth fillings came of after eating a

Sugar Daddy caramel pop candy.

it is not hurting so I will wait till i can afford a dentist.

second the stars I wanted to finish i could not.

third this is the only pic that really came out good .

I change my camera settings and forgot till I was done ,

yes really smart of me :)

i am giving up today but maybe tomorrow will be a better day

( hope hope hope )

Stars Wall Quilt

I haven't made one of this for a very long time

( becouse they are time consuming)

I do in joy them when they are finish :)

this one is about 19 1/2 inches by 23 inches.

It is all hand painted with some felt hand cut circles.

I have also blanket stitch the quilt.
