I am taking a couple of weeks off to put things in order .

1) Finish some art projects that have been in my head for far to long.

what path I need my life to take.

Two Paintings

I have two new Paintings on EBay.

The first one is Edgar Allan Poe , OK I hope it looks like him :)

The other one is of a Vampire Skull , it looks sad.
I was working on another painting unfortunately it's just not working for me :(

I ended up making two paintings .
the first one is 8" by 8" inches.
the second is 4" by 6" inches.
I had fun making them .
This weekend I will be painting some more :)

I Went Shopping !!!!!

I was working at a shop for a little bit and

the money i earned was going to be for art supply but

( there is always a but ) my car broke down ,

so no money for art .
for a couple of days I kept telling myself use your credit card ,

I dint' want to .

today I got up got dressed and just went to town .

I don't want to know how much I spend but

I know that I will start to sell my favorite toys

(my hot wheels cars collection)

and yes I play with them :)

I also order some things from Japan

not here at this time .

I am thinking happy thoughts until

I get the credit card statement next month

( happy thoughts happy thoughts)

I think you all Know that I am Dyslexic so if

I misspell a word or two I apologize .

Some time back I worked at a flower shop,

now and then the owner calls me to help out .

well for the last couple of days I have been at the shop helping out.

it happen that 3 girls from his shop had baby's at around the same time .
one is back but can only work part time ,
one is not coming back and the other

had a bad pregnancy and is steel at the hospital.
By the time I get home I am exhausted

not just from work but here in California we are having a heat wade and

some fires around the mountains.
the air is full of ashes and it is hard to breath.
after work I try to look at my email but

I don't get around to reading them all ( I try ).
Plus I have catch my self just staring at the computer monitor .

I think I will be there till next week .

Upcycled Doll

This is the doll I submitted to Jane DesRosier for the Upcyled doll submission.

The doll's body was sewn with some imperfections so I wasn't going to use it anymore.
The dress and petticoat are old dishtowels that were saved from my aunts house

( don't tell her).

The 3 buttons come from a vintage dress.

What Is In A Name ?

Nothing! Everything!
I am talking about putting My Tiny Studio in every photo I take.
Somedays it takes me the whole day to edit every photo with the name.
I know that the name is so people will recognize me

but I would rather be creating art.
So from now on,

I will not be adding My Tiny Studio on my photos because it is time consuming. plus with me being dyslexic I am always afraid of misspelling the name.

My first Cheater Quilt it's on Ebay

This is my first Cheater Quilt .

Special thanks to "The Cart Before The Horse" for

the instructions on how to make a cheater quilt .

This is my own cheater quilt design.

The quilt is hand-crafted and comes signed and dated by me

The quilt is a union of sewing machine and hand stitching.

The quilt will look great in someones home as a display piece.

The quilt measurements are 16 1/2 inches tall by 23 inches long.

The quilt was crafted using muslin fabric , DMC floss , colorful buttons and

was entirely hand-painted.

On the back of the quilt there are 3 loops that are holding a wooden peg ,

this will make it easy to be hung for display.

Two New Items In My Ebay Shop

The Halloween decoration is hand-crafted and

comes signed and dated by me (the artist.)

On one side of the doll piece their is a happy face and

on the other side it has a scared face.

The piece measures a total of 4 1/2 inches tall.

The decoration was crafted using a pre-made wooden piece ,

cotton fabric for the ruffles , glass glitter and was entirely hand-painted.
